Spencer Olson is a photographer and multi-media artist based out of Texas. He studied studio art at the University of Arkansas, emphasizing in photography and experimental media. He recently released his first book entitled, “A Past That’s Fading Fast”, which attempts the of solidifying old moments within familiar landscapes. This series of photos dives into the juxtaposition of nature versus industry and a look into a few personal memorable places revisited years later. He is an explorer at heart and lets it show through his work, by attempting to capture the unseen. His work tends to have simple compositions of complex subjects and often uses light and shadow to add texture and depth to his images. Spencer has fully committed to making photography his career and creative passion. Over the past few years, he has developed a passion for film photography, embracing its timeless quality and hands-on process.
